Adding or editing a course without a syllabus

Not every course has a syllabus worth importing, or you might just prefer typing it in. From Setup or from Courses, choose to add a course manually: name, professor, meeting schedule, and color.

Class meetings, readings, and assignments can be added one at a time afterward from the course page — there's no requirement to fill everything in up front.
