Refund & Cancellation Policy

When a 14-day free trial is offered at checkout, your payment method is not charged for the subscription until the trial ends. Unless you cancel before the trial end date shown at checkout, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly plan and renews each month at the disclosed price plus applicable taxes until cancelled.

You may cancel online at any time without calling or emailing us: open Settings → Account → Manage subscription and use Stripe's billing portal. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. After a paid renewal, cancellation prevents the next renewal and access ordinarily continues through the end of the period already paid for.

Because a free trial allows you to evaluate the Service before the first charge, subscription charges are generally non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for an unused portion of a billing period. We will refund duplicate charges, charges made after an effective cancellation, or other billing errors we confirm. We will also provide any refund required by applicable law.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, email contact@briefdeskapp.com with the account email and charge date. Please do not send a card number or other sensitive payment credentials. We aim to acknowledge billing requests promptly and may ask for information needed to locate the Stripe transaction.

Canceling a subscription does not itself delete your BriefDesk account or Google Drive files. You may export or permanently delete your BriefDesk account from Settings. Account and data handling are described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update this policy for future purchases. A change will not retroactively reduce a refund right that applied when a charge occurred. Questions may be sent to contact@briefdeskapp.com.
