Connecting Google Drive and Calendar
Optional — BriefDesk works fully without it.
Connecting Google lets BriefDesk create Docs and course folders for you, and keep your Google Calendar in sync with your class schedule. It's entirely optional: private uploads, secure file links, and the planner all work without it.
What BriefDesk can see
BriefDesk only requests access to the specific files, folders, and calendar events it creates or that you explicitly link — not your whole Drive or Calendar. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Files & Google, which removes BriefDesk's stored access immediately.
Connecting later
If you skip this during setup, go to Settings → Files & Google whenever you're ready. Existing semester data isn't affected either way.
